Screenprinting Virtual Proofs
For around 3 years I have been working as a Production Artist for the company A&S Screenprinting and Embroidery in Cinnaminson, NJ.
I either create designs or receive artwork to be "vectorized", add that artwork onto the company proof, then send it back to the in-house representative so they can send it to the client. Once approval is given, I create the finalized films for our in-house printers to print using silkscreens. If we are using outside vendors, I instead send the artwork back to the representative for them to order.
I also set up client websites so they could sell their products, organized the physical and digital artwork files and proofs, and weeded names and numbers for school sports teams.
This company typically prefers PMS color separations.
