How To Be A Recruiter; A Skill and Responsibility

How To Be A Recruiter; Here Is a Skill and Responsibilty That You Have to Know as A Recruiter
A recruiter is someone whose job is to find and find candidates to fill vacancies in a company. In this case the HR recruiter has several duties and responsibilities so that the positions that are needed can be filled with competent and qualified employees. So, his presence in the company is also very important.

A recruiting career is starting to look pretty good but that doesn’t mean it is the right job for everyone. Successful recruiters tend to share some common transferable skill and personality traits. Here is some of the skills and characteristics our expert recruiters say come in handy on the job:

Not all recruiters are true extroverts,
but they should be comfortable spending much of their day talking with others and making genuine connections, even with those they don’t know.

The best recruiters can put themselves in other people’s shoes.
This helps them match job candidates with just the right position and understand what’s motivating them.

Since recruiters spend so much of their time talking with others
both verbally and through text, it’s no surprise that they rely on top-notch communication skills to make connections.

Active listening
Good recruiters know when to stop talking and listen carefully to clients and candidates. This gives them a solid understanding of what each party is looking for.

Not every job opening will be easy to fill
and recruiters will have to rise to the challenge rather than becoming discouraged. A persistent attitude can also help recruiters become high achievers boosting earnings for themselves and their organization.

Of course, there’s no one-size-fits all personality for effective recruiters. One of the best parts of the job is the flexibility for all types of people from various backgrounds to adapt to what the role requires. Additionally, technical knowledge in a niche industry can be a useful asset—for example, the information technology field often has tough-to-fill roles that need knowledgeable recruiters in order to find the right skill sets.

A job recruiter sometimes called a talent recruiter or, informally, a “Headhunter” is a human resources (HR) professional tasked with identifying and pursuing candidates for potential job openings. Think of them as the matchmakers of the business world. Talent recruiters can work directly for an organization or business, or they may provide their services on behalf of a third-party organization, like staffing agencies. And here is the responsibility as a Recruiter;

HR Recuiter Identifying Position Required User
Before conducting the interview process, the HR recruiter will identify and study specifically the position needed by a user to fill the position that is currently needed. This will make it easier for recruiters to find candidates who really fit their needs

Updating Employment Information
When every position can always be filled with employees, the HR recruiter is tasked with controlling and also updating the workforce plan. This is intended to prevent vacancies from occurring which will slow down the company's work process.

Looking For The Candidate
Recruiters will look for candidates who are in need by spreading job vacancies through social media or job portals.
HR Recruiter Performs Recruitment Process
The form of communication in the recruitment process is usually two way, the candidate or job applicant will find out more about the company while the recruiter will also find out about the candidate.

Basically, there are 3 stages carried out during the recruitment process, namely:

Screening, is screening or selecting documents sent by prospective candidates. After the candidate has met the qualifications, the recruiter will collect data that will be used as questions during the interview process
Interview, or interview as a recruiter meeting with prospective candidates to conduct the interview process according to the agreed time.
Review CV, and some supporting documents. Each candidate's answer in the interview session will be linked to a CV and several supporting documents such as certificates or portfolios. After that, the results of this review will be given to the user or the head of the relevant division.
