Whilst working at Vicinity Studio, I found myself having the freedom to work as a Director/Associate Director for projects that I felt passionate about as such, when I was given this project to produce, I jumped on as the AD for the project as well. As the AD i went through all the old training footage and devised a storyboard in which we also had to execute. It was a lot to take in as the dancers in Singapore danced Bharatanatyam and Balinese dance. Having danced Bharatanatyam myself for many years it was such a welcomed sight to behold. In many ways, seeing an Indian Classical Dance being performed by other races felt like an intimate exchange of cultures.
