Twitter is changing
In this illustration I wanted to focus on the changes Elon Musk is planning for the social media platform.
I have placed Musk's head on the Twitter logo as, not only has he bought it, but often uses it to announce his plans.
He has criticised Twitter as lacking freedom of speech, which is here represented by the barbs on the old cage.
Musk will also start charging users for a verification badge next to their username, something which has previously been free. His aim of making Twitter more profitable is represented through the stacks of coins in a gold cage.
Although Elon Musk claims he will bring freedom of speech to Twitter, in reality the social platform will still be censored, just by a different authority. The bird is not flying free; it's only changing cages.
