Star Movies sought an on-air campaign to promote the 90th edition of The Oscars, with the aim to make it relevant among the younger film audience. Over the years the coveted award show has become less about the winners, and more about the controversies and drama unfolding on its big stage. We led with that thought to create a campaign around the most talked about and the wildest moments from the night. These were well received by the target audience and generated favourable ratings for the channel.
