Harlekin (Harlequin) is a composition for unaccompanied clarinet by Karlheinz Stockhausen, named for the commedia dell'arte character Harlequin. It was composed in 1975 and is Number 42 in his catalogue of works.
The reason / music, light, fire and 3D images make up "The little Harlequin", the opera buffa La Fura dels Baus has just been released in Vienna, his first Assembly for children, based on the work of the avant-garde German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. For the production of "Der kleine Harlekin", the Catalan company has counted with the collaboration of the dramatist Thomas Ulrich, who adapted several passages of the opera "Licht" by Stockhausen to tell "the initiation ritual of a Harlequin with the outside world girl".
