This was the first project where we - as students - could decide what we would like to create. Since the start of Augmented Reality I wanted to create something with it, so now is the time! I started thinking about the uses of AR ( Augmented Reality ) and realised that many uses where only for fun, but had no real value. So I came up with two professions that could really benefit from AR. Those two professions are: an interior designer and a photographer. A interior designer can provide users with the ability to display couches, tables and other interior object to see what fits best in their room. Photographers can benefit by letting users experience a photograph in their own home. The users can even determine the size of photograph that fits best.

 

This was such a cool project. I loved the experience of a new innovative technique and the 3D design was really fun. Though it has been a struggle to load them correctly into Flash, with all their mappings.
