I was given the theme "Mengukir" (translation: Carving) to create an immersive projection piece for the group exhibit entitled "Immersio". 

I took inspiration from an event that happened to me over the course of a few months where I was cyber-bullied and attacked online as a result of an art collaboration I was involved in. (Read the story here: www.hatersmademedoit.com)

I calligraphed the words that haters used most commonly on me - Maling, Goblok, Plagiat. (eng translation: Thief, Stupid, Plagiarist) These are then "carved" upon some very intricate gravestones that may or may not signify the parts of my sanity that are now "dead and gone" as a result of the cyber-bullying experience I endured last year.

This immersive digital piece is a #throwback to my fears and confusion afew months ago. ⚰️💀

It also reflects how I see myself now as I am being forced to carve a new "persona" after accepting my fate in the deathly gallows of social media and the vultures of the interwebzzzz.
