23 Ríos is an esteemed Argentinian brewery situated in Mendoza, a province embraced by mountains and traversed by multiple rivers, where outdoor activities form a vital component of the local community's lifestyle, and visiting the river is a customary pastime.

The brewery has a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability and the safeguarding of natural resources, recognizing the significance of preserving the environment for future generations. This ethos resonates in their business practices, and they aspired to reflect it through their packaging design.

To this end, the packaging concept centered on the theme, "The river unites us." We sought to capture the essence of unity and balance that flows through ecosystems by emphasizing the river's pivotal role in connecting people and nature. The river is prominently featured in all five styles, serving as the integral element that unites the entire graphic system.







Stories

Each beer style has its mood and tells its own story. Each illustration represents a different way of enjoying the river, showcasing a range of activities that can be enjoyed in its vicinity — hiking, camping, running, sailing, playing music— alone or with friends, but always surrounded by nature. We loved the idea of personifying genderless colorful characters that made the line between humans and nature even more blurry because that's how 23 Ríos think we should interact with the world and every living creature in it.
