Calligraphy
My calligraphy work has served both corporate and private clients. From learning a variety of hands, I then created an Etsy store to sell more off the shelf products that, while still a premium offering, had a smaller price tag attached. From here I took up letterpress printing to enable me to expand my offering.

Homer, The Iliad
This piece was written on handmade paper with a bespoke hot pink ink and adorned with splashes of a rich gold ink. I enjoyed working with the different textures and offsetting the sombre message with the rich and upbeat colours.
The Forgetful Goldfish
This is a detail from one of my cards. Everything on these cards starts out in pen and ink, is then scanned, digitised and then pressed. Neon orange for this fish was an obvious choice, and it works really well with the gold text.
Happy Easter
I chose the happiest springiest colours for this card as possible. While Easter can be a sombre time of reflection for some (or a chocolate feast for others) I wanted something that didn't fit into either of these categories. So we have rich gold, neon yellow and a grass green envelope.
Card Personalisation
Time allowing, I will occasionally open up a personalisation for my cards. This gives my customers the option of having their cards written out for them in a water resistant ink. It's a lovely thing to write out some very tender messages!
Mother's Day Card
While I do like to play with accepted norms, sometimes I also like to go as hard on them as possible! This cards was done in champagne and neon pink ink, with a hot pink envelope. Hopefully a well received treat for Mums everywhere!
Great British Cow Breeds
A commission for a friend who adores cows! This was a tricky one to do as with white paper you can use a lightbox to make sure your composition comes out right first time. With coloured paper this isn't always possible. In this instance I had to rule up with a chalk pencil for the final piece.
