Branding
My branding activities have seen me tackle everything from creating brands from scratch, to refreshes to complete rebrands. The key to understanding whether a brand refresh or a rebrand is needed is has there been a shift in market or offering? I aim always to ensure that any brand equity of value is kept and improved upon.
Approvity Brand Guidelines
I created the entire brand suite for Approvity prior to its launch to market. The job saw me create logo version and icon pack, as well selecting the core font and colours. The fleshed out guidelines also cover usage of photography, textures and digital UI.
Approvity Logo
The logo and colour palette was designed to stand out from quite a lack-lustre set of competitors. The vibrant palette was to compliment the ethos put together for the brand which also led the treatment for the rest of the guidelines.
GR Business Card Upgrade
The elevation of the GR business card saw a more luxurious card stock and process used as well as an uplift in the overall design. Colorplan stock was mixed with a clear foil deboss for interest and texture.
GR Brand Guidelines
The brand refresh for GR was to elevate the entire customer facing aspect so that it looked on par with its place in the market. I was told emphatically at the beginning of the job that the logo was not to be changed, and there was so much love for the exiting primary colours, that it would have been foolish to try and change those.
Sharksfin Logo
This logo was created for my client, and he was very keen to have something very different from the rest of the market. I went for a super thin font and the graphic flourish on the A was a real hit!
