A Greenport, New York resident, Timothy Mueller graduated from Bryant University where he obtained a bachelor of science in marketing and communications. Timothy Mueller currently serves as managing director of the Middletown Group, Inc. He also engages in philanthropic activities and supports nonprofit organizations such as the San Simeon Center for Nursing, Rehabilitation & Adult Day Health Care.

The San Simeon Center for Nursing, Rehabilitation & Adult Day Health Care provides health care services for adults. The Mueller family along with their friends made a donation to the center and created the Mary Anthea Mueller Memorial Fund after the passing of Mary Mueller, a long-time San Simeon resident. The memorial fund was created to show respect and appreciation to the staff of the center who dedicate their time to caring for people and improving their quality of life.

The Memorial Fund's founding donation was used to improve the technologies and software of the center. The funds went toward new iPads, headphones, table stands, and IT support. Additionally, the Mueller family have also created a communication and activity platform for the residents and staff of the center.
