Back To Back was a fairly quick project to create a Chindōgu, a product that solves a very specific problem, but that creates more around it.
I created a backpack with a rear-view mirror, so you could observe what was coming behind you while walking. This awkward contraption was supposed to help you prepare if something was about to happen to the user, but, it also drew more attention to them, making it more likely for something to happen.
