Episode 4: The Sponge
Welcome to “Super Zeroes''. In a world full of superheroes, this animated web series follows a group with less than marketable superpowers who are unappreciated by the mainstream. Let’s just say they won’t ever be getting a call from Marvel’s Avengers or DC’s Justice League. Feeling inadequate, our characters meet in a mental health support group and find comfort through this unlikely group of misfits. This is my homage to Goonies / Bad News Bears / The Replacements, with a dash of Fight Club (the support group part anyway). It’s a 10 year old idea of mine finally made possible with the help of A.I. I used A.I. to help apply my drawings to the live-action footage I shot.
I shot 5 episodes, but I'm only releasing 4 right now.
