Afro Babes Fest
This is an illustration I did for my Structure & Story II class. The concept behind it was basically my dream music festival featuring all the Afro-Latinx & POC female singers that I admire.
For the scene I had a very specific idea on the colours I wanted to use and the general vibe I wanted to convey with the scene. Something like a ‘summer bubblegum sunset’ aesthetic lol, and I think it turned out just as I wanted.
Lineup features Solange, Lido Pimienta, Fana Hues, Ravyn Lenae, Ari Lennox, Shay Lia, Tanerélle, Mahalia, Pip Millett, Kaiit and Jamila Woods. I know… my mind, right?!
