The Great Train Set Exhibit
As someone who still owns their very first train set, it was wonderful collaborating with the Liberty Science Center design team to illustrate this train for the Center’s new permanent exhibit titled The Great Train Set. The illustration, located just inside the exhibit entrance, is displayed in various scales typically used in train reproduction ranging from 1:160 (smallest) to a full life size rendition (at least the nose)...approximately 16 ft. tall! The exhibit itself showcases a magnificent collection of trains and models that present a nostalgic view of the Lackawanna Railroad as it was in 1952.
