AIRCLOG
Designed for an open commision of DESMA Schuemachinen and Laceless to challenge how direct injection and 3d knitting can be used in new functional ways to give a new vision of what the future of comfort, sustainability and marketability could be.
The airclog consists of a separable knitted bootie, and a direct injected outer shell containing a pre-injected TPU geometry that uses the material’s flexibility to act as an airbag that is literally using air as a shock-absorbing compound. The design is focusing on highlighting the main technical features while keeping an easy to understand clean look.
