U CAN GET BETTER
This piece was created when my mother was admitted to the hospital a few months back. I won't go into detail here, but things aren’t better yet.
A lot of conflicting emotions arose, and the sculpture depicts the confusion and complex nature of the situation. However, me being me, if I let these things destroy me, they will.
So, I find it's important to inject and use vibrant colors, keep up with the craziness and have a level of euphoria always present because as long as there is color and warmth in the world, we can all get better.
