The Story
The brothers Polyneikos and Eteokles kill each other during the fight for the throne of Theben.
After that, their uncle Kreon becomes the new king. He buries Eteokles but refuses to bury Polyneikes because in Kreons eyes he is a traitor.
Antigone, the sister of Polineykes, decides to bury her brother secretly. As Kreon finds out he decides to kill Antigone.

When I was reading the book Antigone by Sophokles these two pictures popped up in my head and I sketched them out. I was inspired by the surrealistic artist Salvador Dali.
