Bhargavi
Milk and honey. Bhargavi and Sasikumar. The quintessential neighbors-that-loved-each-other. Bhargavi's prolific dancing flowed like a river into Sasikumar's ocean of music. Their rhythmic union was an everyday sight. Enters Nanukuttan, the village wastrel. Apart from bathing his insides in booze, he built castles of entitlement with Bhargavi in his mind. The jealousy rotted into poison, which found its way into Sasikumar's food. The milk had lost its sweetness. Bhargavi's feet refused to touch the ground, leave alone the dance. She claimed vengeance. Vengeance reached Nanukuttan's shirt collars. Bhargavi scuffled. With rage. With pain.

Her feet got planted on the ground but found the slippery algae near her well. Conveniently, Nanukuttan pushed her into it. As she was falling in, she had a vision of Sasikumar and smiled as the end approached.

Nanukuttan bent the narrative. "She committed suicide", he told the doubters.
