Tracy Durnell's profile

Novelty Hill Road Stormwater Interpretive Signs

I was lead designer and illustrator for two interpretive signs for the King County Department of Transportation. The panels illustrate low-impact development stormwater improvements along a new connector street between NE Novelty Hill Road and NE Union Hill Road. The signs fulfill grant requirements for education in the public project. Both panels are 18" x 24". Project completed while at The Watershed Company.
In addition to developing the graphic style and designing the layout, I illustrated both the central graphic and the watershed map.
As well as design, I created the central illustration (I also illustrated some of the plants and the three animals).

A detailed segment of the "Filtering through Flow" interpretive sign.
