Package design for the works of contemporary artist Takanori Suga.
The logo on the package uses the “scratching” technique of extracting the drawn picture. The letters are extracted by tracing the abstract outlines. While considering the balance with the caption, we aimed for a classic appearance that will function as a collection for a long time.
Since silk screen is used for part of the work, it is printed on a cloth sticker with the image of a canvas. Each sheet is hand-printed, and the edges and overall density of the illustrations are adjusted while controlling the printing speed and pressure.
