FESTIVAL ASALTO 2022
Zaragoza
Estas doce ilustraciones representan a ciudadanos de Zaragoza que cotidianamente podemos encontrar en cualquier calle de la ciudad. Son personajes variopintos, con estilos y ropa llenos de color, plasmando diferentes aficiones, profesiones, razas... inspirados en los transeúntes que me cruzo por la ciudad, ya sea esperando al tranvía o tomando algo en una terraza de cualquier bar de Zaragoza.
He compuesto las figuras a partir de formas geométricas sencillas, con un nivel figurativo muy bajo para que pueda llegar a cualquier persona que se cruce con ellos, independientemente de su nacionalidad, edad o sexo, creando un lenguaje “universal”, haciendo que puedan empatizar con los distintos personajes. Experimentar con el color, sin ceñirme a una paleta cromática concreta, me ha permitido improvisar a medida que trabajaba en las ilustraciones.

These twelve illustrations represent citizens of Zaragoza that we can find on any street in the city on a daily basis. They are diverse characters, with colorful styles and clothes, capturing different hobbies, professions, races... inspired by the passers-by I pass through the city, whether waiting for the tram or having a drink on a terrace of any bar in Zaragoza.
I have composed the figures from simple geometric shapes, with a very low figurative level so that they can reach anyone who comes across them, regardless of their nationality, age or sex, creating a "universal" language, making them empathize with the different characters. Experimenting with color, without sticking to a specific color palette, has allowed me to improvise as I work on the illustrations.
