Hello, I'm Hasan Akbas, a travel photographer hailing from Turkey. My journey into the world of photography began in 2007, and since then, it has evolved into the cornerstone of my life, bordering on a fervent passion. The introduction of photography into my life completely revolutionized my perception of the world. The interplay of light and composition, captured from the right angles, can encapsulate a narrative that would otherwise require pages to articulate, all within a single frame.
Moreover, the language of photography is universal. While a text written in an unfamiliar language may not convey a message, a photograph has an unparalleled ability to communicate profound messages across time, space, and cultures. I have strived to amalgamate this power of visual storytelling with my personal interpretation.
Fueled by this passion, I have explored 65 out of the 81 cities in my homeland and ventured into 21 countries across Europe, photographing their cultural tapestries, iconic landmarks, and tourist attractions in a manner that echoes the testimony of time.
Since the close of 2010, I have devoted myself full-time to travel, nature, landscape, and lifestyle photography, showcasing my work through my 'mrhasanakbas' social media accounts.
In terms of equipment, I rely on the Sony A7R II paired with the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens.
