An image of Andrzej Nowak - Polish guitarist, composer and producer. One of the founders of TSA band - a precursor of heavy metal in Poland. Leader and founder of the rock group Złe Psy. He was also known for his cooperation with other Polish musicians.
The mural was painted in his hometown to honour his artistic work. It was presented during the 59th KFPP (music festival) in Opole in 2022.
My goal was to create a distinct visual impression of numerous gigs where he played expressive guitar solos. It depicts one of the moments when he is creating a complex sound composition. I chose to paint a portrait that shows his concentration on his favourite guitar. Among many inspirations (photos, interviews, memories of his relatives), the track "Trzy Zapałki"/"Three Matches" was the most characteristic to me, as I knew this for a long time.
