This project serves as an introduction to type form and the different aspects of each font. We were given six fonts; Garamond, Bodoni, Rockwell, Futura, Helvetica, and Platelet. Within those fonts, we were able to choose one character. Our objective was to manipulate each chosen character within six frames to create a larger composition.
Edgy and Experienced, Garamond cuts to the chase and gets the job done.
Bodoni's smooth and elegant appearance catches your eye and takes it wherever it flows.
Strong and sturdy. Rockwell loves to make a statement.
Plain without being boring, Futura's clean look gives simple a new meaning.
The popular Helvetica is modest and values meaning over appearances.
Young and rebellious, Platelet likes to have fun and take risks.
