With over 10,000 active installations, WP Booking System is a powerful online booking calendar with all the features needed to run a rental business. It has gained the reputation of being easy to setup, customise, and a breeze to use. With the growing user-base the team at WP Booking no longer felt that the website did justice to the high quality and premium experience they delivered with the plug-in.
After updating their logotype internally, they approached me to help with creating a new website experience and visuals that reflected their attention to detail and a larger ambition for their booking calendar. The visual system I created, including subgraphics, custom icon set, colour palette, and image selection, positions the product as an exciting and future-focused brand, rather than a transaction-like plug-in.
Collaborating with the team, I also looked closely at the UX functionality, as well as messaging and copy of the previous website, incorporating several crucial changes to how content was showcased, including changes to how pricing, plugin-in features, as well as documentation was presented, packaged, and accessed on the website.
