Seiki Zen Shiatsu
Seiki Zen Shiatsu is my own brand as apart from being an illustrator and a graphic designer, I am also a shiatsu therapist which is a kind of Japanese bodywork.
It was a great and exciting project to design my own logo, business and gift cards and flyer.
With the logo I wanted to convey the essence of shiatsu therapy: ZEN. For me Zen means harmony, wholeness, tranquility and health. But one can also discover the symbol of Yin and Yang which is another important part of the therapy since shiatsu has traditional Chinese medicine heritage. The bodywork is represented by the spine in the Yin-Yang symbol. The little dots in the snail form indicate that the therapy uses acupressure techniques among many others.
