No2ndPlace is an agency that uses the power of sport to create enduring social change which is measured by the impact we have on society. Because we believe sport has the power to change the world!
No2ndPlace was born out of the premise that there is no single greater challenge in society right now than social justice. In fact, the agency name itself stems from the fact that we can’t afford to finish “2nd” in addressing these societal issues. 

We hold the fundamental belief that sport teaches us, tests us, and shapes us. It drives cultures and empowers progress. Our work reflects this, in fact, we will only work on projects that have a definable, measurable social impact metric as the primary objective.

As a collective, we have had the experience and pleasure of working with some of the world's largest sports, brands and not for profits in shaping impact campaigns; driving awareness of social issues through sport; providing platforms for education and ultimately delivering measurable behaviour changes around some of the biggest issues we face as a society. Our processes and output are informed and powered by established resources and proprietary research and we have a clear understanding of how to measure the impact of our work.

We are experts at what we do – creating social change through sport, however, we also understand and believe this is one part of a collective and successful approach. As such we are committed to working with existing programs and structures to be able to use sport as an entry point. 

Underpinning any project that we are involved in is our “Stand for More” approach, or simply, a theory of change. Often this is driven by experts in the field. Where our strengths come to the fore are as communications experts, using the platform of sport to deliver this change. 

Philosophically, it is extremely important to us as an organisation that the work we produce is made in the same way that it is intended to be received. Our intent is to set up our teams reflective of the community and to work alongside community leaders. 

As we set up each project we are very conscious to strike the balance between being locally empowered with insights and production and globally informed with trends and best practice.

This large-scale nationally representative quantitative study, for the first time, helps provide an understanding on the different ways that sport can help drive societal change through the lens of the entire sports eco-system;
Government, Sports Bodies, Media, Teams, Athletes, Sponsors and Fans.
