One of the many joys of creating visuals for our clients is the ability to produce imagery to help win awards or contracts. Working with a shiplift company was out of the norm for us as we typically partner with architects, interior designers, homes builders, and developers. The company designs lifts to help improve shipyard efficiency and reduce operating expenses.
Thanks to Shipyard Engineering, LLC for introducing us to Pearlson Shiplift. We have done a few projects for them thus far, but this one stands out as Pearlson was awarded the contract to build the largest shiplift system in the US. We were commissioned to create visuals using aerial photography to help show their client what the new designed shiplift would look like. Using aerial photography gives us the ability to drop the 3d model in place, matching the angle and lighting, then blend it into the photo to make it appear that it has always been there.
