Call of the wild
Illustrations for the 11th edition of UIVO – Maia’s Illustration Exhibition (Portugal), with the theme Constructions and imaginaries for new utopias. Faced with a sharp scream of nature, man seems to neglect the connection with the world, but since without sustainability there is no development, it is imperative that the bridge be reestablished. Through a perspective of valuing the subjects, human and animal – their origin and destiny – the concept of Call of the wild emerges, the idealisation of a man who becomes one only with nature. May the next great invention be a rediscovery of our origins.
