The Reference Image
This photo was taken from Adobe stock and was used as inspiration for the drawing. I used charcoal brushes in Illustrator, then took that drawing into Photoshop where I added all of the colors, shades and tints. In Photoshop I used their graphite brushes, but they ended up looking more like ink.
