Game Design | Shooty Stronghold
This is a Unity project conspicuously based off of the game Enter the gungeon.

Core Gameplay Loop:

Kill enemies --> Obtain new weapons --> Progress to new floor --> Get high score

Game:

The game has six randomly generated levels, each increasing in:

-Size
-Enemy amount
-Enemy difficulty

To progress to the next level the player must defeat all enemies on the floor to unlock the boss room, with the boss defeated the player can now move on.

Replayability:

To help with the replayability of the game to ensure the player can have fun no matter how long they have played, I added randomness to elements of the game:

-Stronghold layout (no two runs have the same stronghold)
-Enemy encounters (spawn amounts, enemy types)
-Weapon pickups (Powerful/weak weapons)

There are also high scores that give the player a new goal to try and beat once they finish a run, always trying to beat their previous score helps to keep the player engaged.

P.S
The scientist character has powerful debug capabilities I used for testing, feel free to mess around and have fun :)

This is the weapon spreadsheet I used to help create and keep track of the balancing. It contains all the stats I need for each weapon and how they will (roughly) perform.
