Animals
Happy to introduce my Animal art print and product collection (a fun set I like to call Squarimals). The very first illustration was Tiger in celebration of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Tiger) and the rest would follow. To keep things interesting and simple from the start, I decided all designs would be more or less contained in an overall square and conform to an underlying square grid. From there I allowed myself to play with other geometric shapes and explore the relationships between them. I’ve included several of the process sketches that resulted in the the final designs.
