Here's a practical collection of paper textures with lovely grain: introducing the solid color paper textures, volume 01. The set features fourteen (14) base textures. There are two textures per included color of the spectrum: blue, dark green, light green, orange, tan, red, and purple.

The source material is slightly heavier than normal craft paper, which provides lovely grain, small creases, and other similar goodness.

The textures are available in color, black and white (light, dark), and color negative. These variations provide you with the most flexibility possible, for any use case possible.

These are fantastic as background elements, or as textural/color elements. My favorite blending modes for the latter include Overlay or Soft light when using the color versions, and in addition Screen or Lighten when using the black and white versions.

Each texture was scanned at 1,200 ppi, slightly edited in Photoshop (cropping, contrast, saturation), then finalized in crisp 18"x24" @ 300 ppi files.
