A obra aborda a forma como a pandemia de covid-19 alterou e produziu novos modos de comer, de cuidar de si e do outro e de estar no mundo. O livro é resultado de um trabalho coletivo de pesquisadores(as) do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Alimentação e Cultura (Nepac), da Escola de Nutrição da Universidade Federal da Bahia (Enufba). Ao longo de seis capítulos, o(a) leitor(a) é levado a olhar para a tríade corpo, comer e comida em um novo contexto, entendendo fundamentalmente o comer como ato político, engajado e comprometido com uma compreensão de que o mundo e a ciência são lugares de transformação, diálogo e igualdade.

The publication approaches how the covid-19 pandemic changed and produced new ways of eating, taking care of yourself and others and being in the world. The book is a result from the researchers collective work of the Center of Studies and Research in Food and Culture (Nepac) at the Nutrition School of the Federal University of Bahia (Enufba). Over the six chapters, the reader is conducted to look at the triad body, eating and food in a new context, fundamentally understanding the eating as a political act, engaged and committed with a comprehension that the world and science are places of transformation, dialogue and equality.
