Stratifying people’s approach to the building achieves gradual integration of the visitors - from an individual(x) to geometrically growing groups(2x,4x,8x,16x).
B5 Conference Place is a project for a very specific place in the outskirts of Sofia city center. It’s a green patch in a primarily residential site with strong socialistic vision dating the aound the end of The Cold War. The domination of concrete and brickwork is visible. The plot of the building is in the most easily accessible part of the park.
Situating the compact volume in the nothwest part of the plot opens space for a large plaza and a park in the south end.
Applying the same organization principple of entering the building as a modeling basis for the acoustic walls of the auditorium.
