GREETINGS FROM GRANADA
The Granada collection was born inspired by the city of Granada, where all my family is from and where I spent part of my childhood. Granada is a city full of inspiring elements and many of them were important ingredients while working on this design. The pomegranate is the symbol of the city. There is also a long tradition in the making of the artisanal lights that line the streets of Granada. Even colors of the lights were taken from the city.
All these elements were combined with the possibilities that 3D Printing offers. The idea was to create a collection of lights that could be familiar while presenting new details to be discovered while using them. The new Granada Wall and Table Lights effortlessly bring the warmth of the Mediterranean to any space.

A NEW MEDITERRANEAN STYLE
Granada Collection explores a contemporary look at classic Spanish design. They keep the legacy of the local artisans alive with a nod to old school street lamps, while the clean, minimal aesthetic gives the lights a modern edge. The earthy tones provide a sense of warmth straight from the Mediterranean
INTERACTIVE DIFFUSER
“Granada” is also the Spanish word for Pomegranate and while many think of the fruit growing with the crown facing up, it actually grows with the crown facing down. As a playful nod to his favorite city, the light gives the user the choice of placing the diffuser upside down or right side up. Two designs in one light.
COLORS FROM GRANADA
Inspired by the city of Granada. The shapes and features are based on the pomegranates, symbol of the city. However, even the colors of the lights are taken from the city. Sedona red, Sand and Stone are colors that can be found around the Alhambra.
FROM THE SKETCHES TO THE RESULTS
During more than 2 years, including the pandemic, we were working together with Gantri’s team in order to achieve the desired results. From the first ideas and sketches to the final result, going through countless proposals, concepts, three dimensional models, and prototypes.
