Develop from an  old vintage illustration in an old 1960's young fashion magazine, il try to locate it in the context of the age with some props and furniture inspired by the referred times.
Not a very complex idea, just to commemorate the winter holidays of 2021.  With this, I try to introduce substance painter in my little projects but the lack of experience made me commit some mistakes like making the UV mapping project resolution in a lower resolution than the recommended for a standard substance project.
As some kind of personal new year's eve tradition and to show my improvements, I decided to redesign one of my oc's every year and with each redesign, I should implement some of the new knowledge and technics learned through the ending year.  In this   interaction  I use a more slim and cartoonish design as well I use polygon hair as a new feature in comparison with the hair in one  polygon piece of the previous versions:

Looking to return to some of the cartoon visual styles used early 2021, reading about the celts and their culture, especially before the year 100 b.C and the roman conquest of their lands in Hispania, Gallia, and Britain. Inspired by that as well the weapons and equipment of the ancient celt warriors in the archeological and academic sources made this little fella that merges the past and present of the ancient celts territories.

Based on a  rough sketch and returning to the cartoon magical girl theme but this time looking for new shapes to build an even more styled character with a more cartoonish looking than the previous approaches. The challenge this time was to design a more offensive weapon rather than just a magical wand, similar to the first character in this entry, It was based on an old fashion illustration from a young fashion magazine of the 1960's avoiding using the shojo and magical girls characters of the time as a mood board for a more creative result.

Made with a true nostalgia for the 2000s, this is a little tribute to Cooperativa Pascual (a company of Mexico )and the bad behavior of some kids of inflating and crushing the famous triangle-shaped juices once they are drunk making a great explosive sound. Also, try a different approach with the same project modeling a full head and not just with UV mapping like usual at least till this project. This also is the first time adapting a new cartoon visual style designed for 2d illustration to 3d .
