Set for Cultural Institute at Theme Park

Instituto Cultural de Buenos Aires - Set at Tecnópolis
As a creative designer for P-per agency, I designed, 3d modeled and rendered a set to be built at Tecnópolis, a science oriented theme park in Buenos Aires. The stand was made for the Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires and it included several spaces for children and adults to play videogames created by Argentinian developers, as well as a sitting area for interviews.
Full view - The set is 8m wide and 11m long. It includes a sitting area and a 3m x 2m screen where images and videos of cultural icons born in Buenos Aires are displayed.
The other areas include:
2 kinect games
1 55" TV with 2 joysticks where participants can play a videogame about defending the province of Buenos Aires from an alien invasion
5 tablets displayed in arcade set ups, with minigames created by argentinian developers.
Mini arcades
Sitting area and Screen. The seats were later moved to the area behind the kinect games.
Kinect games: "Catch Culture" and "Graffiti paintings".
In the first one, the player has to stand in front of the kinect device and move from side to side to catch the falling objects - all related to Argentinian culture.
In the latter, the player moves their hands in a swiping motion to uncover paintings by Argentinian artists behind a graffiti wall.
The wall behind the playing areas prevents bystanders from accidentally interfering with the games.
