IOW 300.5 User Interface Design
Brief
This project required us to redesign and analyse the mobile screens we designed for IOW 300.4. The new interface needs to include visual elements that are easy to access, understand, and use. IOW 300.4 focused on usability and UX Principles whereas this projects core focus is on the look and feel of the interface elements. We need to create a new visual language and improve the look and feel of our chosen brand's current visual language. The new visual language should be centred around usability, functionality and best practice, It should then also be neatly presented in a mini UI style guide.

Strategy
The original Builders Warehouse mobile site was difficult to navigate and had a lot of room for improvement. Builders Warehouse is missing many important key features, one being aesthetic and minimalist design. The need for online shopping is growing significantly. Appealing to a target market appreciative of contemporary trends can attract a variety of unexpected customers. For this project, I used the wireframes I created in IOW 300.4 and redesigned the user interface for the Builders Warehouse mobile screens. The mobile screens follow the user journey of selecting and adding a product to their cart. The designs are easy to use and understand.
