About

Casimir is an open-source modular framework to build portals for DEIP network.
It is a modular system that allows you to assemble a preset for the needs of the "customer"
Concept

We took the Casimir effect as the basis of the concept. Here it serves not as a reflection of the brand concept, but rather as a distinctive feature on which we tie the logo and style-forming elements. If we formulate the Casimir effect very briefly: in vacuum space, the pressure of photons on two plates from the outside is greater than from the inside.
We use this effect of the wave formation under different degrees of pressure as a graphic technique, illustrating it with the help of a wavy letter "M", which successfully ended up between two "plates" of the letters "I"
The chosen colors, although have muted shades, at the same time remain quite digital. The font has a unique character, it combines a fairly strict base with smooth curves and rounded elements, but at the same time it creates a dynamic and technological image that is not devoid of emotionality.

Also we added the wave-like graphic elements which exist quite freely in space, but at the same time are subordinate to the grid.
In addition to the idea of visually reflecting the Casimir effect, we are developing the concept from a slightly different angle, which is directly related to the framework. And here we consider the framework literally as the framework of a software system.

We break it into two parts: the first is the framework itself, that is, the Casimir basis, on which all this exists and is built. And replaceable modules due to which the user creates a unique portal.

Combining these meanings, we get a style where all elements coexist harmoniously not only in meaning, but also visually.
