Fictional horror poster for a school project
The goal of this project was to create and work up from a black and white picture that had the ability to impact and be sufficiently disturbing but not overly graphical, while keeping the aesthetic of it's monochrome nature. The picture should be made into a movie poster.
The first stage was to apply special effects make up on the model and make sure he was comfortable and in character. The lights were also tested on location and on the model itself.
The second stage was the shoot. This was done with an analog Nikon reflex with black and white negative which was also later traditionally developed and digitally scanned.
The final image was tweaked just a notch to properly convey the emotion for the final poster.
