When I was a kid I used to play with a magnifying glass. I quickly discovered how to angle it in the sun's direction to create this burning effect—which led to nearly turning the front lawn of my parent's home into an inferno in the middle of the summer. With that in mind, I had a funny thought; What if our giant sun had a magnifying glass and was curious to look at earth through it?

I illustrated a sun character peeking through the glass with a surprised reaction. By the looks of it, the sun's curiosity of earth caused an accident. This illustration is a satire of our current debate on climate change.
