Our project was to decide upon the exhibits for new house that has been moved into DakshinaChitra, which is a living museum on the outskirts of Chennai. DakshinaChitra has traditional houses from various parts of South India.
The house we were working on belonged to an Islamic coffee trader from Chickmagalur. Our aim was to set up the house in to capture the Islamic culture along with the lifestyle of the previous house owners.
