For my Intro to Photography class at Texas Woman's University, we were asked to find an inspiring photographer and then try to replicate their photography whether it be in style or subject. The photographer who inspired me was William B. Soule. He photographed Native American during the late 1800's in what was then Indian Territory. As a Native American myself, i wanted to take both his style and his subject and bring them to current times to show how Native Americans would be documented now.
