The XML is used as Database for the APP.
After a little editing fase, we studied the user navigation:

We wanted to use the look and feel of the new iOS7 interface, with outline icons and blurred background.

Oh, I forgot. Because the app started from an inDesign, if a new book is released in the series, to create a new App is a matter of hours. After Cupcake, Gribaudo makes BuonApp Vegetariano. And after a while...
PS. All was coded with Appcelerator Alloy, with a MVC pattern. If you develop App, try it.
