Chimera Eight
Chimera Eight is the eighth edition of our (Edinboro University) annual student journal of art and literature. This year's edition was the second edition to include student film and animation. My co-art director and I led a team of five talented designers to create an edition of Chimera that would stand up, or maybe even surpass, the previous editions. We came up with the minimalist cover design early on, and had a challenging time carrying a strong concept throughout the book. We carried the three-dimensional aspect to the inside in the table of contents and name of the artists/writers. For special touch, we made the cubes on the cover glow in the dark.
