ART FOR ALL - teamwork for The Museum Of Fine Arts, Budapest
The Team: Eeva Kylén - Vanda Bredács - Máté Barna - András Bálint
We think, art is for everyone and the accessibility in the museums is an important and topical subject, so our main goal was to create a tangible object which will link the people who agree with us in this. With the purchase of the stamp, all of these costumers can give voice of their acceptance, accordance, support and understanding. Our opinion is that the product we made is able to implement our aims we set at the start of the designing process. These were:
• to support equal museum accesibility for blind and partialy sighted people
• to appreciate the creativity of blind people
• not positive nor negative discrimination against visionless people
The blind and partialy sighted people can get a chance to show their creativity and artistic talents. They can create something unique after their impressions of the exhibitions in the Museum of Fine Arts in a way that the costumers will not react with sorrow. We hope we can start a positive proccess with this product, and we can see more and more stamps and stickers everywhere.
