Sant Dionís.

On October 9th, among the celebration of the entrance of Jaume I in Valencia, we are also celebrating Sant Dionís (St Denis), our particular lover’s day.
I teamed up with Agencia Sensei to create three posters for Valencia’s City Council, using fragments of three poems written by Valencian poets and poetesses from three different historical eras. These poems are written by Ausiàs March, Vicent Andrés Estellés and Mamen Monsoriu, the first belonging to the generation of the 15th century, the second belonging to the 20th century and the third to the 21st century. For this, I did three different lettering styles, creating a graphic reference to the era to which each of them belongs through aesthetics. All the elements used on the posters were created by me (except the City Council’s logo, of course).
